First, a bit of information about me.

I was born in Dallas and have lived here all my life. I attended University Park Elementary School, Highland Park Junior High, and Highland Park High School. After graduation, I entered SMU where I studied and received my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education.

From my first day of school at University Park, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher! As time went on, I knew that I wanted to teach First Grade, so I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to teach First Grade at Armstrong.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my three sons, Ben, Tim, and Cameron. We like to cook (and eat!) together, watch sports, and just visit! I also love to go to Estate sales and find bargains, and work in my garden. Eating out and going to movies are also favorite pastimes. In the summer, I swim every day!
